Chief Abiodun A. Odusanwo
CHIEF ABIODUM A. ODUSANWO: Is a Senior Institutional Streghtening Consultant, and a Lead Private Sector Hospitality and Tourism Development Specialist. He is the National President, and Chairman of Council of The Institute for Tourism Professionals (ITP), and the Vice President- South West-Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN).
He has worked on projects for countries, regions, cities, hotels, companies and resorts to develop their tourism potentials, improve income generation, and deliver real growth, and with public sector agencies to maximise market opportunities, increase economic profit, and reward.
He was appointed the Principal of London College of Tourism in 1987. During that time, he was actively engaged in the harmonisation of Tourism, Academic and Vocational Qualifications throughout Europe, and the advancement of Tourism Education across many countries.
From 1991 to 2009, he served as the Principal London College of Further Education, and as a Management Consultant undertaking consultancy assignments; seminars external and in-company training, organisational development programmes, Marketing, Classification and Grading of Hotel, Leisure and Hospitality Establishments, Tourism planning and marketing, including business enterprise development training, small business seminars, and executive development workshops in the United Kingdom for UK and international clients.
In Nigeria, Chief Odusanwo served as the Hospitality and Tourism Specialist for the World Bank Assissted GEM Project. He is a Registered International Tourism Practitioner, Member of British Tourism Society, and the British Tourism Consultants Network.
